We are delighted to return to the Wyboston Lakes Resort, Great North Road, Wyboston (close to St Neots) MK44 3AL in The Willows Training Centre for 2024.
Cost to attend is £75 per delegate from all confirmed member councils and £150 per delegate from non member councils.
In addition to hearing and learning from our speakers representing the sector, the price includes unlimited teas, coffees, biscuits, fruit, water cooler, delegate stationery and a two course hot/cold restaurant lunch with vegetarian options, free Wi-Fi and free parking. There is a small lift for access to the first floor conference room.

Keynote Speaker: Nick Dean, Chief Constable for Cambridgeshire. Nick Dean was appointed as the Chief Constable at Cambridgeshire Constabulary in September 2018. In his role as Chief, Nick is the NPCC Lead for Charging under the Criminal Justice Coordination Committee and NPCC Lead for Forensics under the Crime Coordination Committee. Nick is also an assessor at the Senior Police Assessment Centre and one of the Co-directors.

National Association of Local Councils (NALC)

The Great Collaboration - East Anglia pilot of network for local community leaders
The Great Collaboration is a network of volunteer community climate leaders around the county. This includes town and parish councillors alongside community members, charities and district and county councillors. The network have a mailing list and monthly calls to offer advice, share good ideas and support one another.
The Great Collaboration - https://greatcollaboration.uk - and is chaired by the SLCC's climate advisor Andrew Maliphant. The current version has been running in Herefordshire for two years, and now we plan to significantly enhance it and roll it out nationwide.

My experience includes supporting clients including
Councils, Charities and Private organisations. I have over 15 years’ experience
working with organisations in the private and third sectors, including high
street names.
I have wide experience in HR, ranging from supporting Councils and Councillors to strategically review the organisation, to supporting managers with complex employee relations cases. My focus is on finding the right solution for the organisation taking all relevant factors into account. I have supported Town and Parish Councils across the UK for the past five years and worked to support them through a variety of challenges and opportunities.
